Standard cabins have exterior dimensions of 12’ x 41’-4”. Maximum towing height measures 13’-11” with interior ceiling height being 9’-6” from floor to peak. The widest point of the Cabin measures 14’ at the roof overhangs. Our homes weigh approximately 19,000 lbs.

Yes they can. Our homes are designed for 4 season use, even in the harsh winter nights in the Adirondacks where the temperature can drop to below -39°F. High quality PEX waterlines are used to prevent damage from freezing and cold temperatures, combined with a temperature controlled heater that’s placed in the crawl space to insure no frozen pipes.

We don’t offer in-house financing, but the good news is every home that leaves the shop is NYS Modular Certified. This means lenders are able to mortgage our homes, and many clients have financed them through banks right here in the North Country.

From 6 burner Viking stoves and Sub Zero refrigerators, to 24” apartment sized appliances, we’ve built and designed kitchens to accommodate any size. Every square inch of your cabin is well-thought-out during the design process. The kitchen is built to fit your choice of refrigerator, range, hood vent, microwave and even dishwashers.

All of are homes are traditionally framed with milled dimensional lumber, a.k.a. “stick-built”. It’s our carefully crafted log cabin corner blocks that give the appearance of a real log cabin.

It is! We use as much white pine in our homes as we possibly can. Our ceiling, trusses, walls, and exterior siding is specialty milled white pine. Even the plywood we use for cabinets and built-ins is “knotty pine.”

We are in the same classification as Single Family Residences. If your property already has a residence on it and you’d like more space for guests or possible rental opportunities, our homes can also be classified as an Accessory Dwelling.

We handle all the house permitting for your location and walk you through the necessary site prep procedures. Specifically working with your site’s local code office from the start helps ensure a streamlined process.

Like any other residential home project, all utilities need to be brought to the site (water, sewer, electric) prior to delivery day. Local zoning can vary, but most require and we recommend a frost protected monolithic concrete slab to ensure stability for the life of your home.
